How I Became a Designer

While earning my B.A. degrees in Neuroscience and Art & the History of the Art at Amherst College, I toiled in the neuroscience labs by day, and moonlit as an artist for my favorite musicians by night. Upon discovering that design also helps people, I abandoned my waning aspirations for med school and taught myself the fundamentals of graphic design. These print poster projects for live music and undergrad theater comprised my first ever design portfolio.

Fun fact: the first time I ever used the pen tool was to make the Mitski soup spoons.
