As IDEO U's Visual Interaction Designer, I crafted compelling course content, streamlined processes, and pushed the visual ecosystem.

These online courses engage learners through video lessons, opportunities to practice what they’ve learned through real-world projects, feedback from a community of global learners, and reflective activities.

creating on-brand visuals that are strategically stylish and instructional

As a Visual Interaction Designer, I collaborated with a team of writers, producers, product managers, and editors to craft engaging content for course offerings at IDEO U. Working closely with Learning Experience Designers (LxDs), I translated complex ideas into visuals that met both learning and marketing objectives, leading strategic workshops that resulted in social video ads with a remarkable ROAS exceeding 200% and a boost in enrollment. My contributions expanded IDEO U’s visual ecosystem, as I developed the look and feel of new courses, led the production of all course-related deliverables and educational materials, and aligned older courses to current brand standards.

designing processes that promote efficient cross-functional workflows

Navigating the fast-paced and occasionally uncertain production environment, we continually adapted our processes to accommodate emergencies and remote work. I played a key role in developing and implementing systems, workshops, and tools, reducing time spent storyboarding by 40% and enhancing remote collaboration. Between production cycles, we focused on data, user feedback, and competitive audits to refresh courses, iterate on content, and promote inclusivity and accessibility in the learning experience, ultimately increasing completion rates.
